FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
HOW CAN MY CHILD PARTICIPATE IN YOUR RESEARCH?
During COVID19 we conduct our research online for the safety of both families and researchers. If you would like to participate in a study at your own home, we would be very happy to schedule an appointment that fits your and your child's schedules. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, you can fill out the Participation Form or the contact form here or send us an email at email@example.com. If you think that your child's school might also be interested in participating in our research, please let us know!
HOW CAN I GET TO YOUR LAB?
Our Lab is located in the John Freely Hall (Old YADYOK Building) Ground Floor, just outside the parking lot in South Campus. Please click here to view other transportation options and a detailed map. When you reach the South Campus, a member of our laboratory will meet you and accompany you to our lab.
I HAVE MORE THAN ONE CHILD. CAN I BRING THEM ALL?
Certainly. You are welcome to bring all of your children. If there are no studies that your children can participate in, they can play in our family waiting area either with you or with our research assistants.
CAN I BE WITH MY CHILD THE ENTIRE TIME?
Yes, you can be with your child throughout the entire study and observe his/her responses or reactions.
WILL MY CHILD RECEIVE ANYTHING FOR PARTICIPATING?
Every child that participates in our research receives a small gift and a personalized certificate from our lab.
WILL I RECEIVE FEEDBACK ON MY CHILD'S PERFORMANCE?
In our research, we are typically interested in the behaviors of a large group of children belonging to the same age group, rathen than children's individual responses. However, we can share our hypotheses, expected or preliminary findings with you.
